Day 1:

Your guide will meet you upon arrival in Johannesburg at OR Tambo International Airport. Depart to Pretoria for a city tour that includes the Voortrekker Monument, Church Square and Union Buildings, before heading to Muldersdrift on the outskirts of Johannesburg & Pretoria. Dinner will be served at the Carnivore Restaurant, which is one of only two of its kind in the world.

Day 2:

Travel to the capital of the Limpopo province for some shopping at Gemco Studios, which is known for its "African arts & crafts" and then visit the Bakone Malapa Pedi cultural village. Enjoy a game drive and "lunch in the bush' in the Polokwane private game reserve before traveling to Tzaneen via the picturesque little town of Heanertsburg. You will have time to relax and enjoy the Agatha Spa before dinner at one of the finest restaurants in the Limpopo province. Overnight in the mountains near Tzaneen.

Day 3,4,5:

Depart for the world-renowned Timbavati Private Game Reserve, which forms part of the greater Kruger National Park (KNP). Enjoy the next 3 days in the heart of the African bush in search of the "Big 5" and a host of other animals. The KNP is known to be the most diverse park in the world with 140 mammals, 119 reptiles, ± 506 birds, 55 amphibians and ± 1980 plant species.

Day 6:

Travel the "Panorama Route" of the majestic Drakensberg Mountains, admire the natural beauty of the Blyde River Canyon - third deepest canyon in the world, Bourke's Luck Potholes and God's Window. There will be time on route for shopping and lunch at the Famous Harries Pancakes in the picturesque little town of Graskop. Dinner will be served at the hotel. Overnight near White River.

Day 7:

Transfer - after breakfast and a leisurely morning to the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport to catch a flight at ± 13h35 to Cape Town (± 2 ˝ hours). You will have a choice of a couple of touring options on your arrival in South Africa's beautiful Mother City. First option - Weather permitting, you can take the cableway up Table Mountain. Second option - a short orientation city tour, which includes the Castle of Good Hope, City Hall & Parade Ground and DEI Company Gardens. Third option - check in at your hotel, afternoon and evening at leisure. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 8:

Tour the Cape Peninsula. Take a cruise from Hout Bay to Duiker Island to view a Cape Fur Seal colony. Visit the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve with over 4500 species of Fynbos plants, Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope - which is the most south-westerly point of the continent of Africa. Enjoy some lunch in Simonstown before a visit to the Boulders - African penguins. Evening at your own leisure. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 9:

A day at leisure, where you can do the following optional activities - a city orientation tour of South Africa's beautiful Mother City on the "hop-on hop-off bus" or visit a local township or visit Robben Island where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 17 years or visit to Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens or visit one of the numerous beautiful beaches around the Cape or for the energetic - take a hike up Table Mountain or for the brave - shark cage diving. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 10:

Set off after breakfast for a venture into the wine land country near Cape Town. First stop is the delightful town of Stellenbosch, rich in history with the most impressive Cape Dutch architecture. You will have time to wander the oak-lined streets before continuing to Paarl with its imposing Afrikaans Taal Monument. Lunch in the picturesque town of Franchhoek, before wine tasting and a cellar tour at one of the local estates. Dinner at the famous Five Flies restaurant in town. Overnight in Cape Town.

Day 11:

Morning at leisure. There will be time for last minute shopping and lunch at the V & A Waterfront, weather permitting an optional helicopter flip over the Cape Peninsula. Transfer to Cape Town International Airport for your flight home.
